Joining the Norristown Chorale
Become a member of the Norristown Chorale, you may choose to sing a particular voice part, but this may be changed by the Director as your voice is heard with the rest of the chorus. Membership in the chorale helps singers to continually improve their musicianship, vocal skills, and knowledge.
The musical success of the Chorale is dependent on member faithfulness and diligence. To join the Chorale implies a desire to participate in making great music together with the conductor and your fellow singers, and a promise to attend the rehearsals and concerts for the entire semester or performance year. The Chorale' program runs from September through April.
Rehearsals are held every Tuesday at 7:00 to 9:00 PM from September through May in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church. Rehearsals usually begin the first Tuesday after Labor Day, but will begin September 9, 2008, and conclude following the last scheduled season concert.
