Ways to Support the Chorale
During the year we participate in a variety of activities to help support the Chorale - although no single program provides us with adequate funds to close the holes in our budget, we have several which help to close the gaps.
List of Programs
You Shop. Amazon Gives!
smile.amazon.com
Amazon Smile is a quick and easy way to raise funds for your chosen charitable organization. Anyone who shops on Amazon can also be giving to the Chorale!
Why do it?
o Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice.
o AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.
o Support your charitable organization by starting your shopping at smile.amazon.com.
Setting up your choice is easy - go to "smile.amazon.com." This Amazon portal allows you to choose your charity with the option to change it at any time. Choose: Norristown Community Chorale Inc.,
then start shopping.
Your gift of 0.5% of the price of your purchase will be credited to your chosen charity,.from the wording, it is only the sales price (exclusive of shipping & handling and applicable taxes).
You do NOT have to be a member of Amazon Prime. You WILL be charged the exact, same prices on both web sites - so why not support the Chorale? We thank you for your support!
e-Scrip Gift Card Sales and On-line Mall
"eScrip" is the umbrella name for a group of fundraising programs. Through eScrip you can use their Card Registy to register your grocery shopping cards, debit or credit cards to donate while using your cards at participating merchants; their On-Line Mall; and a Dining Rewards Program. We have not begun using these programs yet, but hope to in the near future..
In early 2012 we began participating in eScrip Recycling. A green and white collection box is available at rehearsals for your spent printer cartridges, as well as cell phones, CD's, and various other electronic and media items. A previous relationship with eScrip was through the now closed Genuardi Supermarket program.

Redner Market Shopper's Program
www.rednersmarkets.com
Pick up a Save-A-Tape card from Customer Service. The same card also is used for U-Promise and Pump Perks.
There is no form to fill out. Presenting the card at check out puts "Save-A-Tape" at the bottom of the register receipt.
Only tapes with this designation are accepted for this cash-back program. Bring your tapes to rehearsal and put in the Redner's envelope.
Sherwood Forest Farms - Seasonal Greens
This is the only fundraiser where we are actually selling an item; you place an order directly with a Chorale member.
The sale starts in September and ends usually in late October.
Greens are fresh from Washington state, long lasting, and come in a variety of wreaths and styles.
Once ordered, the contact person will designate a day for pick up - usually before Thanksgiving.
As an alternative, greens may be direct shipped to the people on your Christmas list.
